Eye Re-Surgery

Review of under-eye fat repositioning

I was concerned because my under-eye hollows and dark circles were gradually getting worse. After hearing that, aside from blood vessel or pigmentation issues, improvement would require a procedure called under-eye fat repositioning, I decided to have the surgery. For my choice of clinic, while searching for under-eye fat repositioning, I chose a plastic surgery clinic I found, because the detailed reviews on the clinic’s website stood out to me. Through the before-and-after comparisons left by other people, I expected that I could also achieve satisfying results, and I want to say that, as expected, it turned out to be a good choice.

Briefly, the changes from right after surgery to one month... Day 1 - Right after surgery, I felt slightly dizzy and nauseous at the same time. I thought there would not be much change even if I waited a long time in the recovery room, so I went home, but I think it would have been better to stay until I calmed down a little more. My whole face was very swollen overall.

Day 2 - The anesthesia had completely worn off, and all sensation returned. The swelling increased more, so I applied cold compresses frequently, and I took the oral medication and eye drops consistently on schedule.

Day 3 - As the swelling went down a lot, the fixation tape felt slightly loosened. The discharge from my eyes got worse, so I removed it frequently.

Day 4 - The swelling was all gone except for the sutured area inside the eyes. After removing the tape, I washed my hair and cleansed my face. There were yellow bruises and blue bruises remaining under my eyes, and when I lowered my head deeply or did anything that required force, it throbbed.

Day 5 - The yellow bruises were clearly visible. Once the swelling went down completely, maybe because the sutured area was touching the skin, I felt a lot of foreign-body sensation.

After Day 5 ~ One month - As the sutured areas under my eyes felt like they were settling little by little each day, I no longer feel any foreign-body sensation. Compared with before surgery, what changed is that once all the bruising disappeared, the area looked more naturally flat, and when I open my eyes, it feels like I need less effort than before and can open them comfortably, so I am very satisfied.

This review is a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
