It’s been 3 weeks since surgery It still looks a little different morning and night because of swelling, but I still get excited every time I look in the mirror lol just at the fact that something changed.. Before surgery, my nasal bridge was really low, my nose was short, and it even had a bulbous-nose feel, so I put silicone in the nasal bridge and built a strut with ear cartilage and septal cartilage. I also had short-nose correction and bulbous-nose correction.. You can basically say I did everything that could be done. At first I didn’t want to put in an implant, so I thought of doing it with autologous costal cartilage, but there were issues like whether it would suit the line I wanted and whether the size would be enough to use for the nasal bridge, and the price jumped to almost 3 times?;; or so... My ear cartilage was small and my septal cartilage was short too, so the director made it as much as possible, but I heard a lot that it could be unstable in the beginning, so I should be as careful as possible lol And the cotton was also removed a bit late So it was really hard. I’m usually the type with really severe swelling and bruising, but strangely I didn’t bruise and the swelling was okay? I kept doing cold compresses for about a week and slept sitting up... After removing the splint, they removed the stitches from my nose, and I teared up a little During recovery, my nose didn’t hurt at all, but removing the stitches from my ear and nose hurt so much... From the front, I thought, ah, maybe I should have made it a little higher, but even if I turn my head slightly to the side, it feels like it’s enough.. Honestly, I’m still a bit dazed, but sometimes it feels real that I had surgery, and sometimes I can’t believe it haha So I think looking in the mirror has become a habit. I’ll wait a little longer and post with photos
