It had been about 2 years since I had surgery with silicone and ear cartilage using a closed approach. Even after surgery, something kept coming out from inside my nose, so I struggled for a year and a half and also experienced contracture. I was going to have the revision surgery with autologous dermis, but after hearing that it becomes too natural later, this time I did an open approach with Gore-Tex. It’s been about two days since surgery now. The director said it was hard to pull all the contracted tissue, so they couldn’t make it like the previous shape,... Setting that aside, my nostril size has become too large. They’ve changed to look completely round. It’s to the point that I look dull. 1. Right now the inside of my nose is extremely swollen. Does nostril size get smaller over time? 2. And they said a slightly upturned nose will come down more as the swelling goes down, but is that possible?? These two things worry me the most.. I’ll upload photos soon of before nose surgery, the first surgery, and the revision surgery.
