I thought about it for a long time before getting fat grafting, and it’s already been 1 year ^^ I had it done last September. Time really flies. Maybe because my body type is on the thinner side, I had no volume in my face, so should I say I looked like an old lady?ㅠㅠ My nasolabial folds were also severe when I smiled, and my forehead was deeply sunken, so it really didn’t look pretty. I got information from many people and, after so much consideration, I ended up getting fat grafting.. I’m the type who is really scared of injections, and I tend to overreact to pain, so I worried a lot and was really scared too^^ But it’s already been 1 year ~ [Day of surgery] After arriving at the hospital, I had one more consultation, and they marked the areas on my face to be grafted and the areas where fat would be removed with a marker, then the surgery started. The surgery ended faster than I expected, and after lying down in the recovery room, I was discharged. Um... after surgery, other than the pulling sensation in my abdomen where the fat was removed, there wasn’t anything particularly noticeable. [Days 1~3] It gradually swells up until the 3rd day. Monster mode.. [About 1~2 weeks?] There’s a difference in swelling between morning and evening~! By around this time, a lot of the bruising and swelling had gone down^^ [3~4 months] After about 3~4 months, it felt like all the unnecessary fat and swelling had gone down. The rest seemed to have all engraftedㅎ Usually, there seem to be many people whose surgery results mostly disappear within 1~2 weeks.. Anyway, fat grafting surgery seems to require patienceㅠㅠ !! [5 months~6 months] There isn’t a major change in the face. After 6 months passed, I had one more retouch ^^ The place I went to was not one of those awful hospitals that freeze-store the fat and do retouching up to the 5th or 6th round! It was a place that extracts new fat and performs the surgery^-^ Honestly, the fat from the first surgery didn’t disappear somewhere to the point that a second surgery was required.ㅎㅎ Those of you who got fat grafting!! Please wait with patience!! As time passes, it will naturally settle and become pretty on its own. It may differ from person to person.. In my case, I think my face still felt a bit swollen until about one month. From after one month, it gradually becomes more natural. At around two months, it’s just right!!! After the surgery, people around me don’t say I got prettier, they say I became a completely different person..ㅋㅋ I’ll give you a TIP ★★It’s important! When we extract fat from the body, that fat has things like oil or debris mixed in with it. That separation process has to be done precisely so only pure fat is collected and injected into the face, you know?? But the way that’s done varies drastically by hospital. There are hospitals that just put in something like tissue?? and roughly let the tissue absorb the oil floating on top, then inject the fat underneath with a syringe (which would be fat with a lot of oil or debris, right).. And the equipment used to inject it, should I call it that?? That also differs from hospital to hospital. Apparently there are things like genuine products and genuine-style equipment too~ Because the price difference is big, there are supposedly quite a few hospitals that use the style versions. So hospitals like this, for example.. They’re the ones that do retouching up to the 3rd, 4th, or 5th round. A surgery where everything disappears within a month(?) A surgery that can only look pretty for one month?? Because every time, they inject fat like that with a lot of oil mixed in, it won’t engraft and will keep disappearing. Technique is important too. Aesthetic judgment is also important. What I worried about the most was it not engrafting, continuing to disappear, and wasting money..?? Or having so much fat put into my cheeks or forehead that they looked like they were about to burst, making it too obvious I had surgery. Those were the two things. And hospitals that say they freeze-store the fat and use it for retouching, absolutely, absolutely don’t do it.!! 100% of it disappears. Even when healthy fat is harvested and injected right away on the day of surgery, engraftment isn’t 100%, so what about fat that has been freeze-stored..ㅎㅎ If I had to compare it, should I call it grandma-grandpa fat..? Someone around me also suddenly got pretty and then, a week later, was back to square one. It must have been nice for that one week, but.. For something with an effective period of one week to one month, spending a lot of money is such a waste. I seriously want to demolish places that do surgery like thatㅎㅎ I hope this helps a lot with fat grafting ^^ Oh, and after fat grafting, you shouldn’t lose weight for a while!!
