Eye Re-Surgery

Incisional eyelid revision surgery: Day 1

<Photo taken about 5 minutes after surgery after resting in recovery, then right away in the dressing room><Photo taken in the restroom at the train-station outlet><Photo taken on the train, taking one because I felt good and wanted to show my friends><Photo taken at home after a little cold compress and applying lots of ophthalmic ointment>I had a double-eyelid revision surgery at 1:00 today~ (Eyelid slant correction, upper canthoplasty, posterior canthoplasty, lower canthoplasty) It didn’t feel like it took long at all, and right before going to surgery I went in after clearly restating the issues to improve and my requests in detail again! At first, maybe because my eyes were almost closed all around, I thought, "If my eyes won’t open, how am I going to go home?", but from the train on they gradually opened. Still, the first 1-3 hours after surgery were really painful.. Blood kept collecting and I kept wiping it, and because it hurt, I couldn’t even open my eyes properly, but now that I’m home, after cold compresses, taking medication, and putting on lots of ointment, it’s okay except for a little pulling from the stitches! The canthoplasties look natural and well done, so I’m satisfied with that! But what I wanted to improve was that my left and right eye-shape corrections had been different, so I wanted to make them symmetrical. The double-eyelid line was also asymmetric, so I wanted that to be symmetrical too. But when I came home and looked in the mirror, once I relaxed the effort of opening my eyes, it looked like there was no difference from before, so I’m a little worried.. Some people said it could be from swelling, and since it’s just the first day, I’ll just wait with a calm mind. Did I do well..?(I am, at least to myself, somewhat satisfied..hehe) I’ll delete the photos in 2 weeks!
