I went around for consultations for my first double-eyelid surgery. The director seemed to prefer natural adhesion. They said it’s because since it’s a first surgery, even if it comes undone later, it can be fixed again. They didn’t recommend anything else like epicanthoplasty, so it felt conservative? (Maybe because it was my first surgery.) The explanation didn’t feel very detailed. It was more like they answered what I asked..
