After seeing an acquaintance get double eyelid surgery, I thought the result looked pretty good. I also have monolids, and even my eyelashes grow downward, so I kept rubbing my eyes out of habit. So I decided to get double eyelid surgery and visited after booking a consultation. I went in thinking the price would probably be similar to what my acquaintance paid, but they quoted me twice as much… I wondered what was different, and it turned out ptosis correction had been added. I said I wouldn’t do ptosis correction, had that removed, and proceeded with only double eyelid surgery. It’s been about 3 weeks now, and I’m satisfied now that the swelling has gone down. Especially because my eyelashes no longer poke my eyeballs, I don’t rub my eyes anymore.
