It’s been about a month. After the surgery, when I listened carefully to what the doctor said, they said they also harvested septal cartilage to build the columellar support, then placed costal cartilage on top of it and lowered the nose downward. Does costal cartilage surgery usually use the nasal septum together too? My upturned nose hasn’t improved as much as I expected, so my nostrils are still somewhat visible, but compared with before, my nose is definitely longer and higher, so I’m satisfied ^^ However, when I gently touch inside my nose, I get the feeling that the internal shape is a bit asymmetrical.... lol But hearing that they also used septal cartilage made me wonder why they didn’t use 100% costal cartilage... haha, so I’m asking whether this is the usual surgical method~ (The costal cartilage wasn’t my own; they used something else.....)
