I had an open procedure, and at the incision area on the tip of my nose The incision site is bulging up. It’s red, and smooth and glossy~ shiny~ It’s only on one side of the two alar sides. Is this scar tissue? Do I need to apply scar ointment? It’s been one month since my nose surgery. Other people say they got scar tissue inside the nostrils, but I’m not really sure, and because the skin under my nose is red and shiny, it stands out. Please help! Will it get better with time? Should I buy ointment right away today?
