Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Day 11 after revision surgery

The first surgery was bearable, so I went back onto the operating table for a second surgery.... Seriously, if I went into the first surgery without knowing much, the second one is really not something to take lightly... truly, truly. I’m not trying to scare anyone, but you really need to be very firmly prepared for it. Even if my shape comes out completely awful this time, I’m never going to lie on an operating table again. I don’t think I’ll ever open up my nose again ㅠㅠ When people usually get plastic surgery, quite a few don’t eat well because they’re trying to reduce swelling and lose weight, but absolutely don’t do that ㅠㅠ I’m naturally the type who swells easily, so I drank 2-3 pumpkin juices per meal and didn’t sleep and did all that... It was okay for a few days, then I suddenly got really sick all at once... Both sides of my tonsils swelled up, my nose was blocked as it was, and my throat hurt so much. I really experienced hell so many times; with my nose blocked, I wondered if this is what it feels like to suffocate to death. Every time I went to the clinic, I got an antibiotic injection, so I thought I wouldn’t be able to go separately to an ENT and get another injection. I kept enduring it and ended up making the illness worse... In the end, I only went after the splint was removed and only the taping was left on. Even with treatment, it didn’t get better easily... and I had to take more medicine on top of it. I can’t even count the injection needles in my hips, and my body really suffered. Maybe I pushed my body too hard; the high fever was so severe that I got an IV drip for the first time in my life, but my body still kept running a high fever. So I figured medicine or injections probably weren’t enough, and when I kept wiping my body with a cold towel, the fever at least went down a bit. Maybe because I suddenly had antibiotic injections and medication all week long, my body seems to have completely broken down. After surgery, you really need to eat well and sleep well ㅠㅠ Finally, on Wednesday, I had the ear cartilage stitches and all the nose taping removed. When the taping was on, I was curious and wondered how it would turn out, but once it came off... it felt refreshing, but it didn’t feel like my faceㅋㅋ It had some kind of Southeast Asian vibe... and my nose feels like it got way too big. Still, I like the side profile... I didn’t want too much of a curve, and it seems like they made it straight. During the first surgery, they said they would make it curved, but the columella didn’t come down, so this time I focused more on getting the columella to come down than on the shape.... I keep worrying, what if the columella suddenly goes way up? Even while doing warm compresses, I look in the mirror onceㅋㅋ My nose is really hard... I’m too scared to even touch it... Habits are scary; sometimes I forget I had nose surgery, and because my nose feels stuffy, without realizing it, my finger starts heading toward my nose, then I lower my hand again... I gently clean it with a cotton swab... I hope the fever stops now... They said if your body hurts and you have a fever, the risk of inflammation gets higher. The clinic also strongly told me to take care of my health and recover quickly ㅠㅠ They said if I think inflammation has developed, I should call right away.... The fever has gone down, but every time my nose throbs, I’m trembling by myself ㅠㅠ My throat is still extremely swollen, and every time I swallow saliva the pain is, ugh... With my first surgery, around two weeks in it felt like my own nose, but I don’t know how it’ll be this time ㅠㅠ
