Last Wednesday, I went for a nose consultation with my heart pounding and feeling excited, but they said my nose is very small to begin with and my nasal septum is small, so they would have to use both silicone and costal cartilage I understand silicone is the material most associated with contracture or severe inflammation, but the hospital said that with my current nose, the chance of inflammation is very low and told me not to worry too much.. My nose and face shape have been complexes of mine my whole life, but I had just been living while trying to ignore them, and since I finally made up my mind and went once, I guess I was really tempted…. I live pretty far away in the provinces, so I only had one consultation and came back for now, but even with the same nose, do hospitals and doctors say very different things?? If so, I’m really going to try hard to visit multiple places…. I’m very scared, so I really, really don’t want it to come to revision surgery

이쁜또코 When using costal cartilage, please carefully consider autologous costal cartilage versus donated costal cartilage I proceeded with functional nasal surgery, and since I haven’t had major discomfort, I recommend it
유맥나 Yeah, diagnoses differ quite a lot by hospital. There are differences in aesthetic sense too, and they also prefer different materials.. I think it also varies depending on experience
익명 Using costal cartilage for a primary surgery is a bit too much, and silicone isn’t that dangerous a material as long as it isn’t used only in the nasal tip
