When I checked with CT, I found out I had a deviated septum, so I mentioned it during the consultation. But the doctor said everyone has facial asymmetry, so it wasn’t a deviated septum, and suggested we just do a closed rhinoplasty.. I don’t have a bulbous nose, but the tip is wide, so he said he would tie the alar cartilage, insert silicone, and support it with ear cartilage. He said he would use ear cartilage and septal cartilage, and for the bridge he would use silicone; he wouldn’t need to shave down the hump, and he would shave the inside of the silicone as much as possible to match it. Then the manager said our doctor never recommends unnecessary surgery and can do a closed procedure because of his skill. But.. I said I had a deviated septum, and without even checking, they suggested a closed procedure.. Is that really not recommending unnecessary surgery? If anything, isn’t that skipping a surgery I actually need? It really looked unprofessional.. my trust dropped sharply.. The manager kept trying to get me to leave a deposit, and suddenly said my nasolabial folds were deep and asked what I was going to do at such a young age. They said if I left a deposit, they would give me Botox as a bonus, but still.. uh, okay... ~
