Eye Re-Surgery

I had surgery again… and I’m disappointed this time too

I had revision surgery because my first surgery went badly. I did go to consultations at several places and really looked up a lot of reviews, but… honestly, my current condition feels a bit ambiguous. It’s been about 3 weeks since the surgery, and the scars are hard, and the front line is a bit uneven. The sensation when I open my eyes still feels awkward, and the line is irregular, so I keep worrying about it. The shape of both eyes is subtly different too, and the asymmetry around the front of the eyes and the outer corners bothers me. After the surgery, there wasn’t any separate aftercare. They didn’t even give me anything like ointment, and I only heard, “It’ll get better with time~.” I don’t believe that at all now. Right now, I’m carefully recovering while looking things up on my own, but compared to what I expected, I’m so disappointed that I’m mentally overwhelmed. I keep wondering if this is right, whether I’ll have to do it again next time, and I really don’t know. I’m not writing this to blame anyone. I’m leaving this here to say that people shouldn’t decide too easily like I did, and if something feels off, think it over one more time. During consultations, everything looks good and what they say sounds plausible, but in the end, I’m the one who has to deal with the surgery. This is a photo from day 22.
