A surgery I got when I went in high school without thinking much. When I was getting the consultation, the doctor seemed like they were trying not to laugh while looking at my face, so I still remember it. But honestly, even when I looked at my face back then, it was funny, so I did not really feel offended. And I remember that during my surgery, the doctor was kind of saying something to the nurse and treating them badly. I did not choose surgery based on personality, and in the end, considering I went without thinking much, I am moderately satisfied and still like it now, about 3 years later. It turned out slightly lower than the double eyelid I wanted. But these days I am looking into rhinoplasty, and if I had made the double eyelid higher, I think once I got rhinoplasty too, my face would have looked a bit obviously surgically enhanced, so I am satisfied with how it is now. When I got mine, I think they mostly did natural adhesion? I got that too, but I am a little anxious because it feels like it might come undone after a year. There are so many double eyelid clinics these days that if I were to do it again, I think I would think about whether or not to go there.
