I had rhinoplasty with Gore-Tex and ear cartilage over 15 years ago, but recently I started feeling a foreign-body sensation and a slight sense of contracture, so I decided to have them removed. Since the implants are old, I’m also concerned about possible deformation and absorption, and these days I prefer a more natural nose line, so rather than revision surgery, I’m thinking of removing them first and watching the condition. I’m also curious about how the condition of my skin and cartilage has changed, and since a long time has passed, there may be scar tissue or tissue deformation, so I plan to proceed after a thorough consultation at a specialized clinic. I want to look natural now, without a foreign-body sensation.
