My nasal congestion on both sides was so severe that my main goal was functional nasal surgery, but since I was getting surgery anyway, I thought, let’s improve the appearance too! So I had a consultation and decided to go ahead. My nasal tip looked blunt and wide, so I wanted it raised just slightly and hoped for a smooth line. I used a customized implant and septal cartilage, and also had nostril reduction done. I also had correction of a deviated septum and rhinitis surgery all done at once. At first I was scared, but after waking up from anesthesia, it was better than I expected. As the swelling went down, the blunt-looking nasal tip definitely became more refined, and the line settled naturally too. Rather than just making it high no matter what, they made it natural to suit my face, so I was very satisfied, and most of all, breathing has become so much easier, so that’s what I like the most. Before, I used to wake up while sleeping and couldn’t breathe through my nose all day ㅠㅠ Now I feel confident even without a mask, and since I don’t have nasal congestion anymore, my quality of life has really changed. If you’re considering both functional and cosmetic surgery, I really highly recommend it, and I think it’s also important to find a director with lots of surgical experience and good technical skill.
