Arm Liposuction Review

<Before surgery><After surgery>Writing in a clipped style. My stats: 170 cm / 55~56 kg. People say I look skinny, but that’s only when I wear clothes that cover my upper arms. Because my upper arms looked especially bulky, my husband was the only one who had seen me wearing a sleeveless top. I thought about liposuction for almost 3 years and went around to several hospitals for consultations. Then I had a consultation with the director at ㄱㄴㄷㅅㄹ and decided right away. They said there was one morning slot open the next day after the consultation, so I thought it was fate and went ahead with the surgery. Even though it was the day of surgery and I was swollen, I could see the line. Very, very satisfied. Reasons I chose the hospital - 1. Minimal scarring (I was subtly bothered by the idea of getting elbow scars, but they don’t make an incision at the elbow here) 2. No compression garment required (with the current weather, it’s so hot I could die even wearing nothing) 3. The director’s opinion (gave an objective assessment and suggested a realistic amount of fat removal without side effects). I think the director suggested around 600~650 cc during the consultation. They said they might remove a little more or a little less than that during the actual surgery. What matters is a pretty line within a range that avoids side effects. 4. They provide quite a lot of aftercare. I had 700 cc removed. They also cleaned up the accessory breast area and the area connecting the arms and back. Inconveniences - As for pain, even now, the day after surgery, I can move around and get through the day. The hardest thing I didn’t expect was removing the tape wrapped around the gauze. You have to soak it well with water so it comes off with minimal skin irritation, but wow... it took almost an hour to remove it all. Those who have surgery coming up, please use wet wipes. It was to the point where I thought that if my arms hurt, it wasn’t because of the liposuction but because of removing the tape. Now, the day after surgery, there is bruising on the inner arms and elbow area, and they are swollen. Even while swollen, I can see the line, so I’m kind of excited. That’s it for my review on the day after surgery! I’ll keep posting reviews.
