It’s been one week since surgery, so today I went in and got my stitches removed + a sheet mask + laser + radiofrequency + swelling injection! haha I used to only lurk every day, reading reviews and staring in the mirror thinking I wanted to do it too, and finally I’m leaving a post on this board too! Since it’s bone surgery and it’s my face, I was too scared to do it, but what I think now is: I really should have done it so~~~~~~~ much sooner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Before, my impression looked strong, and when you have prominent cheekbones, the outer corners of your eyes look lifted too, and I looked older. People around me said it nicely, calling it a cat-like look, but honestly it just looked unsophisticated and aged ㅠㅠ It was a real complex for me. Now that the cheekbones I had such a love-hate relationship with are gone, I look younger, and my impression has become softer and more feminine. I really felt so, so regretful that I didn’t do it sooner. Every time I go for laser swelling care, I look at the smooth facial contour line in the elevator mirror and feel really happy. Even if it was an unfamiliar clinic, if I saw surgery review photos or got a recommendation by message, I went to every clinic without missing any, and I even just went to Apgujeong, walked around, and randomly went into places that drew me in. By now, from consultations alone, I went around for over a week getting consultations to the point that I know my face inside and out~ But really, when you read reviews, they say there are clinics that just pull you in. But even when I went for consultations, it was all more or less the same talk, and at first everyone is kind, so... maybe because I went around so much and became numb to it, there wasn’t anywhere that really grabbed me~ And on one hand I was worried about side effects too, and I also wondered if I should just live with it since I’m not going to be a celebrity. Then I was supposed to meet a friend in Gangnam, but I had time left before the appointment, so I went into *** Plastic Surgery for a consultation, and I really felt, this is exactly the place. Really. At other plastic surgery clinics, they said that if I had cheekbone surgery, my jaw would stand out, so I should do a V-line and chin tip together, things like that. But I had never lived with any complex about my jaw at all, and I was only thinking of doing my cheekbones, so since the cost went over 10 million won, it was a burden too. But here, they said that if I did the cheekbones, my face would fall in a straight line, so they suggested removing the sagging skin and fat around the jaw area together, and when they said it could be done with fat alone, it felt really new and appealing! Cost-wise too, doing the jaw would have cost much more, but by only doing liposuction, it was reduced by more than half~ And after cheekbone surgery, cheek sagging is what you worry about most, right? But they said if they remove the fat, that can be prevented too! From the outside, I thought it was a small clinic, but seeing lots of people waiting and lots of surgery patients somehow made me trust it more, and during the consultation with the director, he consulted with me for an hour, and then the consultant also consulted with me for an hour, for a total of two hours. Seeing that, I immediately decided, this is the place! On the day of surgery, after they said, “This is a sedative~” and gave me the injection, I don’t remember anything! When I woke up, the surgery was over. Because I had general anesthesia, my throat hurt and I had phlegm, so they gave me ice cream, and while eating it, I had no idea Together could taste that good ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I don’t think I’ll ever forget the taste of the Together I ate then. I bought and ate it yesterday, but it didn’t taste the sameㅋㅋㅋ They say bone has no pain receptors, so it doesn’t hurt, and really, the cheekbone surgery did not hurt at all~ If anything, the back of my hand where the IV was placed hurt more ㅜㅜ And because of the general anesthesia, the phlegm in my throat was the hardest part, but after a day, it became totally fine haha Maybe because of the liposuction, the ring-like bruising on my neck hurts too, and it’s hot but I can’t tie my hair, so it’s uncomfortable, but when I look at my cheekbones, I really have to accept all of itㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I honestly feel like I could have the surgery a hundred more times!!! After waking up from anesthesia, the doctor told me to touch my face and press it, but I was too scared to touch itㅠㅠ But even without touching it, just looking in the mirror, I could immediately tell that my cheekbones were gone~ I’m so, so satisfied. To the point that the time I spent living with so much stress and this complex until now feels like such a waste. I should have done it sooner!! I really feel like I should have worked part-time intensely for about 5 months and invested in it sooner!! ㅠㅠ For about two or three days, my eyes and nose swelled, but later all the swelling came down, and now there is almost no swelling on my cheekbones~ It’s been one week now, and I thought I would swell up like a fan, but my cheeks are just a little plump and swollen like I had fat grafting, and the bruising on my cheekbones is only slightly yellowish now! It can be covered with makeup, so once it’s been one week after surgery, I think there’s no need to worry at all! I stayed at the accommodation for a week, and I became close with the people who had surgery too, so from the third day, I ate well, like Jjapaghetti, bread, Kancho, and so on! You have to eat well so it won’t hurt when the stitches are removed! Before, whenever I cut my bangs, I kept the sides long to cover my cheekbones, which made me look stuffy, but now I can tie my hair up refreshingly, do straight bangs too, and I want to go to the hair salon quicklyㅋㅋㅋ♥ After surgery, there are really so many things I want to do ㅠㅠㅠ I want to buy pretty hats in every color, and I want one month to pass quickly so I can post photos briefly haha Everyone, become prettier and have beautiful surgery!! haha
