I had surgery yesterday, and today is day 2. I arrived at the hospital at 10 a.m., and I think I went into surgery around 12:30 p.m. When I came to, it was around 5. I kept sleeping, so I couldn't check the exact time, but I was originally told I would be discharged around 3 p.m.; in the end, I left the hospital after 7. I hesitated because this hospital is on the pricey side even though it is not an obesity clinic, but looking at the results now, I'm really satisfied haha. My abdomen is smooth with no folding areas even when I sit, my waist is tucked in, and I can clearly see that my arms have become thinner. The hospital I went to told me to wear the compression garment after removing the stitches, and for the wounds, they said not to put on bandages, just disinfect them. When I had facial liposuction before, I had read that the more skilled hospitals don't consider compression garments that important, so I think that made me trust them more. I was worried because I have to go to work starting tomorrow, but since I don't have to wear a compression garment or put on bandages, I think it will be much more comfortable. The pain is much less than expected, and even though I bruise easily, I didn't bruise much this time. (For reference, the blood draw site from my health checkup last week was completely bruised.) Now I wonder why I worried so much haha. Before the procedure, I also searched a lot about whether you can go to work right after liposuction, and it is totally possible haha. I'm excited to see how it changes once more swelling goes down. I'm leaving this review hoping it helps even a little for people with similar concerns!
