In March 2011, I had all of the silicone and ear cartilage removed because of inflammation. The bridge area was throbbing and swelling, so I left it alone thinking it was something minor, but when I went to the hospital, they said cartilage inside my nose had broken through the skin, so they kept washing inside my nose and removed everything. Then a year later, at the end of June, I had revision surgery with silicone and septal cartilage. But I think I heard that if someone had inflammation after surgery with silicone and then has revision surgery again using silicone, inflammation will definitely come back someday... I am really scared. It has been a year since the inflammation symptoms healed and I had revision surgery again, so will the inflammation recur? It has already been more than 3 weeks, and I have not had any alcohol or cigarettes at all and I am being very careful.
