Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

People with an upturned nose or those planning revision surgery, please read this ㅠㅠ.....

I... had a total of 4 surgeries~ My first surgery was when I was 21.. Looking back now, my original nose before surgery was definitely not unattractive... I just wanted it to be a little higher and wanted to look better..ㅜㅜ So I went ahead with surgery... But as several months passed, the nasal tip kept turning upward.. The contracture I had only heard about had happened.. I thought it would lift for a while and then stop.. so I lived with it, but one day almost 2 years later, whenever people saw me, they really hurt me by saying... rain would get into my nostrils... or that it looked like a dog’s nose... ㅠㅠ I had felt it a little whenever I looked in the mirror, but after hearing those comments and looking in the mirror, it really looked like my nose had been lifted high into the sky with a fire poker.............. Eventually........ 2 years after my first surgery, when I was 23, I went around to many clinics, but........ there weren’t many clinics willing to do revision surgery on my nose that had lifted so sharply..... Doctors said there was no answer....... They said this was contracture caused by silicone, and because there was a lot of scar tissue in the skin, even if I had surgery, the result would be a gamble............. I mean..... why did the doctor who first operated on me make my nose turn upward...... I felt so wronged I couldn’t even speak..... I went back several times to the doctor who had operated on me, but they said there was no solution and that the only option was removing the silicone.. Since I originally had some bridge height, I didn’t think removing a 1 mm silicone implant would necessarily make anything better, so I was going around consulting other places.. Then one XX clinic said they would operate on my nose. They said so.. In the end, I paid a huge amount, three-something million won, and had revision surgery. They said they would lower the upturned nose and make it a bit more defined.. Then..... after the revision surgery, one month..... then two months..... 6 months. The upturned nose, which looked fairly lowered at first, started to lift again little by little as time passed.. It wasn’t as bad as after the first surgery, but .. people here and there told me my nose looked a little upturned. The nasal tip was also too pointy and high ㅠㅠ During the first surgery, all my septal cartilage was used, so the second surgery was done with ear cartilage.. Maybe because ear cartilage was weak.. or maybe because my nose, which had already developed severe contracture, was the problem... Either way, I still wasn’t satisfied...... After living like that for 2 years, eventually... at 25, I went to another famous clinic in Busan and went ahead with surgery to lower the silicone and lower the nasal tip to make a straight nose.. The result was............ good~ I was satisfied, and although the nasal tip hadn’t dramatically come down, it was much better compared with the first and second surgeries... But.......... because of my foolish(?) greed....... I heard that if I removed the silicone, the nasal tip would come down a bit more..... and that for an upturned nose it’s better not to have silicone (in my case, a capsule kept forming around the silicone and caused contracture), so in the end, despite the doctor opposing it, I removed the silicone ㅠㅠ As a result........ When removing the silicone, it couldn’t be taken out through the nostril, so they made a columellar incision again and removed it...... Maybe because of that, after two or three months, or maybe because the tissue had been disturbed again from doing surgery through an incision, my nose actually lifted a bit more........ The nasal dorsum also became uneven. Maybe because the silicone that had been covering the cartilage was removed, it became uneven........... I lived like that for a year...................... I really hated that only the bridge looked a bit sunken, and the overall shape itself was strange, so I resolved that this would be the last time, and at the clinic that did my third surgery, using artificial/imported donated costal cartilage, we used 2 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, and as it gradually went down toward the nasal tip, 3 mm, 4 mm, and then 5 mm at the nasal tip, lowering the tip as much as possible in a straight line........ ㅠㅠ I really felt like I was going to die while doing it..... The surgery took more than 4 hours. During surgery, I bled so much that while they were cauterizing to stop the bleeding, I honestly even thought I might die from being electrocuted..ㅠㅠ Because I had had so much sedation for surgeries until then, now even with sedation, rather than the spinning feeling I used to get..... my mind felt completely awake and it was just a bit dizzy...ㅠㅠ I’m now on day 14 after surgery. My nose is defined, and the nasal tip has come down much more than in the previous 3 surgeries, and it’s fairly straight and neat..... I can’t touch it anymore....... and I’m not going to touch it... ㅠㅠ If any of you are worrying because of an upturned nose, when you have surgery...... please think very carefully and have it done at a good clinic by a skilled doctor........ㅠㅠ What I regret the most is..... I feel like I aged from repeated surgeries.. and I even feel like I completely lost my youth in my 20s ㅠㅠ After surgery, while recovering and waiting for things to settle, I didn’t go out much, and then I even developed depression.. That itself was so hard~ I don’t even want to imagine it... Originally, after surgery, until the swelling goes down and hospital treatment ends, time just does not pass, and you suffer in all kinds of ways... I don’t want that kind of thing repeating anymore... Now I want to take good care of it from here and live satisfied... Everyone, if you are about to have surgery or are thinking about revision surgery....... please think about it one more time.. And the most important thing is knowing how to be moderately satisfied... Also, you have to meet the right doctorㅋ And.. it’s better to let go of so-called misunderstandings that aren’t exactly misunderstandings, like expecting something too dramatic~ for example, thinking one nose surgery will be a huge jackpot or that you’ll completely~~~~ change and become like a celebrity.. Because.....ㅠ if your expectations become that big, you may be disappointed after surgery and fall into self-loathing.. So~ while being moderately satisfied, the biggest point of rhinoplasty is that changing the nose is important, but more important than the nose itself is the feeling of change in the overall image of the face... I think that’s more important.. Even if it improves moderately, I think you have to be satisfied with the improvement......ㅠㅠ Anyway~ those who are getting surgery, have courage and I hope it goes beautifully and well~ Those who already had surgery, take good care of it~ and become prettier~ Thanks for reading this long postㅋㅋ Then everyone, have a good day!!!
