Hello !!!!!
Hmm, how should I put this.. I’m someone who also struggled for 2 and a half months because of removal, and it’s been 2 weeks since I had it taken out!!^^ It had been 9 months since the surgery, and since morning the tip of my nose hurt so much. From then until night, and when I checked the next day, there was swelling similar to my nose right after the first surgery. I had gone from the countryside all the way to Seoul for it, so I had another trip to Seoul the next day and went back up right away, and the doctor said we should take it out then and there ㅠㅠ Still, since it was such a difficult surgery to go through, I hesitated to remove it and came back after getting a week’s worth of medicine.. After taking it for about 2 days? my nose seemed to go back to normal right away, but because of my own mistake I drank a glass of alcohol and it went back to how it was again.. I kept going back up there, and finally decided to take it out. They used a syringe to see how much inflammation there was, and when they removed it, only fluid came out.. I wondered what on earth was going on, so after draining the fluid, I decided to take the medicine for another week. But strangely.. after draining the fluid it got better, then it went back to normal again.. I wondered if it was because I hadn’t been taking care of it properly.. Anyway, after repeating that, I took medicine for two months, and then removed it on a day I had off. The surgery took about 10 minutes, and compared with nose surgery it didn’t hurt, and they removed it non-open without tape. After removing it, my nose shape seemed unchanged, but I could clearly see that my nose had become smaller, and it was so cute ㅠㅠ Ah, how should I say this.. I found this community and read removal stories while crying endlessly, only saying “what do I do, what do I do,” and thinking that if I removed my nose my boyfriend would run away, that I’d get social anxiety and depression, and ah ㅠㅠ just thinking about it I can’t even speak, really.. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ But after removing it I felt so good, though I heard the 2-week mark is the critical point? Not that something went wrong ㅋㅋㅋ I heard that after 2 weeks the nose might get raised and things like that ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ But I had none of that at all. Having stitches inside made washing a bit inconvenient, but honestly after removing it I almost felt like I could fly away ㅠㅠ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It’s not as pretty as when I had it, but still this nose is good in its own way. Even when the doctor said they’d do a free revision surgery, I still didn’t budge.. Hmm, for now I’ll think about it until vacation.. I really feel wasteful about the money, and what I wanted to say is that the time I had to endure mentally rather than physically was so painful ㅠㅠ It looked so subtle and pretty when I had it that my mom said I should have had it lifted a bit more, and now I joke that maybe the nose got angry, but even though I’m a little disappointed, I’m satisfied with life now ㅠㅠ Everyone, if you have inflammation that truly requires removal or if you’re in pain, then you should take it out, but if you’re removing it just because you don’t like it, ㅠㅠ it may lead to even harder results.. Well, I’m not a doctor or anything^^.. In my case it was a fluid collection that seemed like inflammation and didn’t seem like inflammation, but apparently that can still be inflammation? So I wrote this because I wanted to help a little! Everyone, stay strong, and if it can help, I really want to help! I usually just lurk wherever I go and don’t write posts!!.. But your posts here gave me a lot of strength! Thank you, and if you have any questions, leave a comment or send me a message! I’ll answer everything I know^^ Everyone, don’t blame yourselves too much, and a positive mindset is the best! You know stress also plays a part in nasal inflammation, right? Stay strong! Fighting:)
