I ended up having it removed after a revision rhino surgery!

If anyone had seen my entire journey, you’d probably think I’m completely obsessive.. haha I was born at the end of December and got my first-ever surgery then. It was a paranasal augmentation surgery. My face really needed that area filled in. I didn’t even have nasolabial folds, but the area next to my nose was sunken in deeply.. because of that, my lips looked a little upturned too.. my cheekbones also looked a bit prominent.. and my nose seemed like it would look prettier if it were lifted a little more Also, when I wasn’t smiling, I looked kind of sulky. But when I did smile, even a little, the area beside my nose would smile too, so I could smile with my eyes and nose (like Han Seung-yeon - not that I look like her, but Han Seung-yeon also smiles with a nose wrinkle + eye-smile) For the first surgery, I asked for local anesthesia, but when I lay down on the operating table, fear suddenly flooded in, and I started crying and asked for sedation anesthesia instead ㅡㅡ;; At the time I thought, ‘I can’t ever do surgery again, it’s way too scary..’ but then it ended up being uneven, so a month later I had a revision paranasal augmentation surgery.. In between, I also had my chin tip asymmetry corrected.. (at another hospital) and then today I even had the paranasal implant removed. It feels like I’ve done all the surgeries I’ll ever need in one winter. There was something like this written in an article column at the hospital I went to: For Zhang Ziyi and Gong Li, the paranasal area is typically very sunken, which makes them look gaunt, so they are the kind of faces that need paranasal surgery. But because actresses are supposed to look cool rather than cute and dainty, that face shape is actually the right one for them. Zhang Ziyi and Gong Li are both so charismatic, right? But the plastic surgeon sees them as having a face where the paranasal area is sunken, so they need that surgery. I also thought my own face was the kind that needed that area, so I never thought I’d ever have it removed. Even if things went wrong, I was prepared to have revision surgery three or four times, but in the end I had it taken out. The manager ladies and the doctor all said I’d regret it// but I think I look much prettier after removing it.. Someone named Songpadochi said that before, and at the time I thought, ‘Still, having that area done does look pretty, so I shouldn’t remove it..;;’ but having the nasolabial area not overly full actually gives a somewhat sexy(?) feeling too.. and it feels a little cooler.. it has its own charm. I had always thought sunken nasolabial folds could never be attractive, but now that I lost that and got it back, I understand. Even if I write this, the people who want it will probably still go ahead with it! Since it can be removed, I think trying it isn’t a bad idea. Right now I’m not thinking about how much money I wasted.. I’m just relieved that it wasn’t something irreversible. If I hadn’t had the surgery, I probably wouldn’t have realized how charming and precious my face is right now. haha (I spent about 6 months living with my mind completely fixed on getting paranasal surgery) And I probably would have kept thinking that someday I wanted to do it. Anyway, I feel unbelievably relieved now that it’s been removed today.. I came to this board and caused a scene by myself every day, so I guess this will be the last time? haha;; Anyway, instead of just saying a doctor says it’s needed, and instead of just thinking it will make you a little prettier.. please really think about whether that area is actually bad enough to need surgery. And whether it truly has no charm at all. Then.. goodbye!
