After using double eyelid glue for over 10 years, the line no longer formed properly even with glue, so I searched hard and got non-incisional double eyelid surgery, and that was already 1 year ago.... I clearly had a lot of flesh on my upper eyelids, and I had used double eyelid glue for so long that I knew myself that my skin had sagged a lot, so I thought I would definitely have to do fat removal + incisional surgery. But after being told during consultation that fat removal wasn’t necessary and that non-incisional surgery would likely be enough, I just tried non-incisional surgery right away, and I’m truly extremely satisfied. If I had gone straight into incisional surgery from the beginning, I think I really would have regretted it... It gives me chills. Actually, I remember being told that the upper eyelid flesh itself was on the thin side, and that the thick protruding part was the lacrimal gland? or something. On top of that, I have protruding eyes, and they said my eyes were suitable conditions for double eyelid surgery, so I felt reassured lol Of course, I was very satisfied with the result, and I inherited(?) the exact line I had been making with double eyelid glue my whole life... I barely had swelling, so the major swelling went down in just a week, and the bruising was completely gone by 3 weeks. The surgery was in June last year, so it has been exactly 1 year now, and if I don’t say I had double eyelid surgery, people don’t really notice.
