<Before><Day 1><2 weeks><3 weeks><1 month>Hello. My upper eyelids were originally a bit droopy and I had multiple creases, so people often said I looked tired. Even when taking photos, my eyes looked heavy and closed-off, which was always disappointing, and as those concerns built up, I eventually decided to have surgery. It has now been a little over a month since the surgery. Before surgery, my eyes definitely looked sleepy, but now my eye shape looks clearer and much more open. Right after surgery, there was swelling and my eyes felt a bit dry and stiff, but I recovered by doing cold compresses and taking my medication as instructed by the clinic. After about a week, the bruising was almost all gone, and after about 2 weeks, the swelling had gone down a lot. These days, opening my eyes feels much more comfortable, and my impression looks clearer, so I am very satisfied. After about a month, it feels like almost all the swelling has gone down, so I am even more satisfied with the result. If your eyes look heavy, closed-off, or sleepy like mine, I think it may be worth considering ptosis correction surgery at least once. Personally, this is a surgery I am really satisfied with.
