After Worrying About Nose Surgery for Years, I Finally Went for It

I had a slight hump, my nose was a little crooked, and the tip was drooping. Because the nasal tip drooped, my protruding mouth looked even more pronounced It was really stressful.. I’d never been told I was ugly in my life, so I worried so much before deciding on surgery. Still, if you want to do something, you have to do it. I looked into hospitals like crazy. My father and mother are very sensitive about things like that.. First, I ruled out places that use implants.. I searched a lot because I wanted to do it somewhere conscientious, trustworthy, and strict about aftercare. So after a consultation at the place I found, I had surgery a week later. I was hospitalized for about three days, then discharged and came home (my father told me to stay hospitalized for a month -- lol), and now it’s day 5. I had (osteotomy, hump reduction, glabella augmentation with ear cartilage, and nasal tip with septal cartilage). For the hump, I decided it didn’t need to be completely shaved down; I thought leaving a little would make it look less surgical and more natural, and I also worried that if the hump was shaved off too completely, the nasal bridge might become too low, so we agreed on that. Instead, I had an osteotomy. That way the nasal bridge would look more defined.. Honestly, I was prepared for a lot of swelling and serious bruising, but I’m glad there’s almost no bruising or swelling. I still haven’t removed the taping, so I can’t know the exact nose shape yet.. I’ll upload photos once the taping comes off.. For now, I’m 100% satisfied I regret not doing it sooner!! But what’s really great is that my mouth looks set back. My nasolabial folds disappeared. My cheeks also look plump lol Anyway, once the taping comes off, I’ll gather my courage and upload a photo!!! ^^
