I had tip-plasty without an implant in February 2024, and I felt like I was really going to lose my mind, so I decided on revision surgery. Everyone, please avoid this place.. After having nasal tip surgery without an implant, at first I thought it had turned out nicely and round because of the swelling. It was quite high, but I kept thinking it would go down, it would go down (I repeatedly begged them from the start to make it look natural no matter what) But as the swelling went down, the nasal bridge became even more bulging than before, -From the right side, it became a large hump nose -The nasal tip became pointy -The shape of the right and left sides of my nose is completely different (It became a much more perfect hump nose than before surgery..) -Both nostrils became so large that you can see all the way inside (A problem occurred as the nasal tip was raised) -For over a year, I have had nosebleeds periodically (This is what made me the angriest) -Now, a year and a half later, the airway inside my nose is only about 1 mm, so I cannot sleep (There was definitely no problem during the preoperative exam) First of all, they kept saying the hump was mine, and the doctor said, ‘This is cartilage, so I can’t even shave it down. What’s the point of opening it up?’ Then they added one more thing. ‘Because this area sticks out, it looks more natural.’ I was truly dumbfounded, but I thought, fine, maybe that could be true. It’s not like I got nose surgery expecting to become incredibly pretty, so I decided to just live with it. After that, I think I tried not to look at my nose when I looked at my face in the mirror. The stress was so severe that all my hair fell out. But the problem was that my daughter asked me why my nostrils were so big. So I thought, ah, I should at least get nostril lowering, and I went back to the clinic and brought up nostril lowering. They said it couldn’t be done, saying it could make my nose look pinched. Before the original surgery, they had said we should do nostril lowering after seeing how the nasal tip surgery healed, and that it was a very simple procedure. I said okay back then, but now they say it cannot be done. They even said, ‘What am I supposed to do about your nostrils being big?^^’ I thought, are they insane? But still, because I was worried it really might become a pinched nose, I just left again (I woke up at 5 a.m. and traveled back and forth to Seoul). Fine, I thought, let’s just live with it, let’s not look at my face. A few months passed like that, but my nosebleeds kept happening. At first, I thought it was because it was early after surgery, but even after several months, they kept happening, so I went back again. Then they said, ‘I’ve been having a lot of nosebleeds these days too^^’ and I thought, this person is not in their right mind. So I felt there was no value in talking to this place anymore, and I completely gave up. But from about one or two months ago, when I lie down, I can’t breathe. I simply cannot sleep, so every day I wake up in the middle of sleep and sit up. I thought maybe it was because of the change of seasons. But then my nose started bleeding heavily again, so I shone a light and looked inside my nose, and the inside was so blocked that I wondered if there was even an airway. So this time, I thought I should first go to another clinic, hear the proper reason, and then go back to the clinic that did the surgery. So I went to another clinic for a consultation.. Ha.. They said my nasal tip had been raised too much, so the cartilage on the dorsum of my nose had bulged upward, and because of that, the shape changed like a hump nose and the airway became narrow. On top of that, the nasal tip angle was also set incorrectly, and the tip was pulled out high as if it had been tugged upward, which is why the inside of my nostrils is visible, they said.. While listening to that, I really sobbed and sobbed. I had tried to just live with it, but I need to be able to breathe, so I decided on revision surgery, and I’m leaving this post because I really hope everyone avoids clinics like this.. I took my first surgery lightly and it got ruined, and now that I have to undergo a major surgery this time, it really woke me upㅠㅠ Please wish me luck that the revision goes well..

유야유 [@봄봄87] Wow, really?? That’s the place that quoted me 7 million won for revision surgery. I’m shocked… They seemed so confident, saying they were sure of themselves.
봄봄87 [@유야유] If a problem occurred with the surgery, they should at least have made an effort. They acted like they were playing around with kids, truly the worst.. Get consultations elsewhere, and I hope your revision surgery succeeds too!
purist I sincerely hope your surgery succeeds!!!
봄봄87 [@purist] I had heard that rhinoplasty doesn’t end with just one surgery, but now that it has become reality, I’m so upsetㅠ Thank you for cheering me on. If it goes well, I’ll post a review.
죽빵 The doctor’s attitude is insane? ‘I get nosebleeds too’??? Makes me want to punch them
