<Reason I Did It> I had a complex about my nose since I was young. When my face was relaxed, my nose was relatively okay, but I hated how the tip drooped like an arrow-shaped nose when I smiled. Still, I’d heard rhinoplasty can have serious side effects, and with my personality, I felt I’d regret deciding on plastic surgery too easily. So for years, I only lurked in this community while getting through those phases of hating my face, and in the end, since I had quit my job this time too, I felt like I wouldn’t be able to do it if not now, so I got rhinoplasty!!
<One-Month Review> Honestly, I’m the type who gets scared and worries a lot, so until about a week after rhinoplasty, I did wonder whether I had done it for nothing. I think it was simply because I had cotton in my nose, breathing was uncomfortable, and it hurt a lot more than I expected. But now I think it was the best thing I did... First of all, breathing is soooo, soooo comfortable. I’m genuinely so happy. And for everyone considering rhinoplasty, the biggest reason you want the surgery is mostly self-satisfaction, right? I think that was the case for me. When I told my friends I wanted rhinoplasty, they’d say, “Why? You don’t need it,” but when I actually traveled or went out with friends and looked at photos they took of me, all I could see was my nose... I looked so ugly to myself... But the reason I feel it was really well done is that it looks very natural, while all the shortcomings that needed improvement in my nose were corrected, so I’m very satisfied. When I used to take photos with a regular phone camera, my facial asymmetry was very obvious, but now that the hump has been shaved down and my nose is smooth, even regular camera photos come out so much better, and that makes me happy too. Of course, it’s not my skin, so I still need some retouching lol. Somehow, I used to only lurk in this community and ask people with good results for info, so it feels nice to be posting a review like this myself!! Still, rhinoplasty only really shows its true result after 1 year, so if I can post again then, I will!!
