If there had been repeated inflammation, do they usually recommend autologous costal cartilage for revision surgery? For now, I’m thinking of finishing all my online research and then booking consultations.. I was told AB, Mind, Top Class, and Made Young are good, and I’m wondering how it would be to add JT and Miho too. What do you think of choosing places that are also good with autologous costal cartilage?
Clinics mentioned
플라나라 I think so? From what I know, for noses with inflammation or contracture, they mostly recommend surgery using autologous costal cartilage. I also developed contracture after my primary surgery and had my nasal tip implant redone with autologous costal cartilage. The place I had surgery was Miho, and if you’re considering autologous costal cartilage and it’s revision surgery due to inflammation, definitely go there for a consultation too. The director is good from the costal cartilage harvesting stage, so after surgery I didn’t feel much pain, and looking at it now, there’s almost no scar left. Since it was contracture, I really thought I was ruined, but thanks to the clear diagnosis and definite improvement, it didn’t lead to a second revision or third revision, and I finished at one revision surgery.
벙봉벙붕 If it’s revision surgery, they almost always recommend autologous costal cartilage, but putting that aside, if it’s a nose that had inflammation, they’ll probably recommend autologous costal cartilage because the chance of inflammation is lower than using something taken from someone else ㅠ When I went to Louvre too, I kept saying I was worried about side effects and scared of drooping, so they did recommend autologous costal cartilage.
둥이둥이둥이 Yeah, I think they’ll recommend autologous costal cartilage. I had revision surgery at ㅇㅇㅂ, and it turned out well with autologous costal cartilage.
김상무 If inflammation was frequent, autologous costal cartilage, which has less foreign body reaction, would probably be better! Mind and Top Class use costal cartilage well, and the reviews are good.
김떡쑤니 Probably, I think soㅜ Costal cartilage is often used in revision surgery, and especially if there had been inflammation, it does seem like autologous costal cartilage is used a lot.. Made Young and Miho are places I found by looking for directors who specialize in nose surgery, but are the other hospitals on your list also specialist directors?? Materials are important too, but I think the director is the most important.
너구리콩 Autologous costal cartilage does have a lower chance of contracture or inflammation, yeah. Mind and JT are good, and although it’s not on your list, Human was good too.
하으니갸 If it’s an inflamed nose, I think they’ll recommend autologous costal cartilage. I think you can look at JT and Miho too. Made Young included as well, since it’s a place I also looked up reviews for... It seemed like they do a lot of revision surgeries and use a variety of materials~ But you really researched a lot of places. Are you going to all 6?
