<Skin folding beside the inner corner of the eye after upper blepharoplasty>I had upper blepharoplasty 2 weeks ago, and when I looked on the first day of surgery, the skin beside the inner corner of my eye was folding over, and even the skin below was folded, making it look wrinkled. When I roll my eyes upward, something like a skin membrane forms. On the day I had the stitches removed, I told the doctor who performed the surgery, and they said, “Wasn’t it there from the beginning?” and acted as if they felt wronged. So I told them to look at the preoperative photos, and after confirming that the wrinkle was not there before surgery, they told me it would disappear after 1 month and that I should trust the doctor. In my judgment, I don’t think it will disappear with time, and if my eyes droop, I think it will overlap even more. Why does this kind of phenomenon occur? Is there anyone who has had an experience similar to mine, or who has had revision surgery for this reason?
