I took the photos with my phone, so the image quality isn’t great..;; please understand...;; It’s already almost been two months since I had surgery. I’m in my late 20s and preparing for employment. Before surgery, my nasal dorsum was wide and low, and my nasal tip was bulbous, so I had a complex about my nose. I decided to have surgery to get away from that complex, even if only a little. I didn’t want a high nose like celebrities have, but a nose that suited my face and looked harmonious even after surgery. So the condition for choosing a clinic was naturalness! I went to consultations at four plastic surgery clinics, and most of them used silicone. Also, when I looked at the before-and-after photos, they all looked nice and well done, but the thought that quietly came to mind was that anyone would be able to tell they had surgery.. Among them, there was one place that recommended a Surgiform implant unlike the others, and I was tempted when they said it was more natural than silicone. Also, the before-and-after photos had a natural feel, so I was even more drawn to it. And more than anything, the director consulted with me comfortably, like an uncle, so maybe that made me trust him even more. I told the director that I wanted my nasal dorsum to become a bit thinner than now and my nasal tip to become more defined, and that I didn’t want surgery that looked too obvious. Through the consultation, I decided to have nasal bridge and nasal tip surgery together using Surgiform and ear cartilage, and the surgery was done with an open approach. Honestly, I worried a lot that a scar would remain. But now, two months later, unless I look very closely, the scar is not noticeable. On day 7 after surgery, I had the tape and stitches removed. The major swelling was mostly gone after about a week, but the swelling between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip seems to have lasted about two weeks. After one month, a lot of the visible swelling had gone down too. It will soon be two months, and since the director said subtle swelling can continue to go down for up to 6 months, I’m planning to take an ID photo once even the residual swelling is all gone while preparing for employment. People around me also don’t notice at a glance that I had surgery; they say something about me has changed somehow, and that my impression looks cleaner than before. I’m satisfied with the surgical result because I got a natural nose that fits my face, and I don’t think I’ll have to suffer from that complex anymore.
