<After surgery><After surgery><Before surgery>Everyone, I got nose surgery this time and it turned out so well that I wanted to write a review! I did have a slight hump, but the biggest problem was my bulbous nose that looked broad and spread out from the front… My nasal tip/alar area was really wide lol. My nostrils were wide too… lol You can see it in the photos, right?... I was seriously so stressed about it But usually when the nostrils are big like this, it looks like breathing would be easy.. absolutely not I even had rhinitis too.. so I couldn’t breathe properly….. Anyway, my rhinitis was so bad that I was told I did need surgery, and since I was going under anyway, I wanted to correct the bulbous nose that had been stressing me out and also reduce my nostrils, so I looked into doing everything together! I wanted it moderately high rather than way too high, and I wanted the nasal tip to be rounded, not pointy, and more than anything, I really hoped my nose would please get smaller Like other people, I went around to lots of consultations here and there, but there didn’t seem to be any hospital that felt like “this is the one,” and honestly it was so exhausting.. you know what I mean, right..? Then, lastly, I had a consultation with Director Yoon Seok-ho at Miho, and honestly, I think it was the longest consultation out of all the hospitals I visited While looking at my CT, he explained the cause, saying this was why I couldn’t breathe well, and I felt so relieved because we had found the cause… I happened to have first-generation private indemnity insurance, so I was eligible for a 100% reimbursement, and I actually received the reimbursement safely without any issues haha As for the shape too, even though I didn’t say much, he told me that because of my nostril wings and nasal tip/alar area, it seemed like I must have been very stressed in daily life… Since it was a bulbous nose but my skin was relatively tight, he said costal cartilage would be needed, and if autologous costal cartilage felt too burdensome, I could use donated costal cartilage. He said the hump would be slightly refined, and because the silicone needed to be thin, we would proceed with a custom implant. For nostril reduction, since I was a bit undecided, he suggested we think about it a bit more together.. In that way, the plan reflected my needs as much as possible and felt very realistic, should I say? There was no pushing anything extra, and I strongly felt like he only talked about exactly what was needed, so I thought this was the place Sometimes people say that when you go around to hospital consultations, there’s a place you just get a feeling about, and for me that was Miho.. So I had surgery here! It hasn’t been long since the surgery, but it’s similar to the nose shape I wanted, the bulbous nose was corrected so well, and it transformed beautifully into a smaller nose The nasal tip/alar area was honestly my biggest stress, and I think it improved so much… I eventually decided to do the nostril reduction too, and only one side still has some swelling left, so I think I’ll need to watch it a bit, but overall I’m so happy with the design and everything!
