I’m originally the type who gets scared pretty easily, so I was honestly really scared right up until just before surgeryㅠㅠ I think it had been a long time since I’d been that nervous... But the staff kept telling me one by one not to worry, and strangely, that was really comfortingㅋㅋ And then... I drifted off to sleepㅋㅋㅋ I really didn’t even know when I fell asleep... When I opened my eyes, I was half-asleep and groggy, and my mouth felt extremely dry and parched. The surgery was over so quickly that I wondered what I had been so scared ofㅋㅋㅋㅋ Still, because of the nasal packing, I had to breathe through my mouth, so that was a bit uncomfortableㅠㅠ My mouth kept getting completely dry, and since it was a feeling I’d never experienced before, it felt unfamiliar, I guess...? And the real issue was... the swelling when I woke up the next morningㅋㅋㅋ Maybe because I’m usually the type who swells easily, my face was really puffed up... My family burst out laughing as soon as they saw meㅠㅠ It almost created a dark-history momentㅋㅋㅋ The swelling peaked around the one-week mark, and after that it gradually moved downward and went down. Even my cheeks had swollen up like a squirrel’s, but with time they definitely settled down! Rather than doing any special care, I just drank pumpkin tea every day and took walks for about 30 minutes? I only did basic swelling careㅎㅎ I had some bruising at first too, but it turned yellow and gradually disappeared! And what was really amazing was that the tip of my nose, which used to droop downward, became nicely defined and lifted!! I was also so satisfied with the height of my nose, but at first I worried, could this maybe just be because of swelling? But now that a month has passed, I really love both the line and the height! I also had severe rhinitis, so my nose used to get blocked often, but now I keep thinking, was it always this happy to sleep without my nose getting blocked...? I especially struggled every fall and winter, but now I feel liberatedㅠㅠ Since both the functional and cosmetic nose surgery were successful, I’m so moved!! Honestly, I was really worried about side effects too, so I’m relieved that the surgery seems to have gone really well. These days, when I do a full face of makeup, my nose line looks even prettier, so I’m even more satisfiedㅋㅋㅋ From now on, I’ll take good care of it and maintain it healthily
