After spending 6 months in a community looking for similar cases and searching for clinics, I finally had revision surgery a month ago, and I’m personally satisfied, so I’m leaving a review. In my 20s, I had surgery with silicone + nasal tip cartilage because my nose was low. About 13-14 years passed, and as I got older, I lost a lot of facial fat. The nasal tip cartilage that hadn’t been visible in my 20s started showing through, and under lighting I could see a dent on the nasal dorsum, so I started thinking about revision surgery. As a woman in my late 30s, I wanted an extremely natural result that no one would notice, so I went to consultations at several places. I took enough time, about 5-6 months, to search for clinics, and I think I had consultations at around 10 clinics. I kept debating between 2 clinics until the very end. Both were places that performed natural-looking, safety-oriented surgery, but their techniques were completely different. So I visited each clinic twice, consulted about the pros and cons and the method that suited me, and finally had it done at the clinic I chose. For me, they made silicone with 3D printing using Innofit to improve the dent on my nasal bridge, and for the visible cartilage at the nasal tip, they trimmed the cartilage and reinforced the skin with artificial(?) material. I specifically requested Director Seo Man-gun, and I felt that his hands were really fast. I think it was finished in almost an hour and a half. (It may have been because I didn’t have any cartilage harvesting and the silicone was prepared in advance.) For pain, the incised skin area and nasal bridge hurt for about 3 days, and I think the bruising was worst on days 2-3. I kept applying ice packs so it wouldn’t heat up, and it got better. One week later, the splint was removed, and at first there was still so much nasal sebum and swelling that I was like, “Huh?” and wondered if this was right. After about two days, once I started wearing a little makeup and going about daily life, it became so natural that even my husband said it was completely unnoticeable. And the fact that none of my acquaintances, family, or coworkers know ㅎㅎㅎ (the part I’m most satisfied with) What I think was good about having revision surgery at this clinic is that I could do the simulation in advance with Innofit and consult based on it, and because I was under light(?) sedation, it felt trustworthy that the director performed the entire surgery from beginning to end. (It was this transparent, but I don’t remember at all how my nose surgery in my 20s was done.) Anyway.. I hope this is helpful for those considering revision surgery for similar cases.
