Under-eye foreign material removal

Area: Under-eye foreign material removal (Ultracol) Surgery time: around 2 hours (excluding time to wake up from anesthesia) Hospital: Uvom Plastic Surgery (Director Kang Chang-min) Cost: varies depending on size, location, and type (You need an in-person consultation for an accurate estimate) What to bring: hat, sunglasses, mask Precautions: fast for 8 hours (no water, gum, or candy), no nail/pedicure, etc. After developing nodules under my eyes, 1. Saline injection many~~ times 2. Hyalase injection (I got this early on because the swelling was severe) 3. Steroid injections many~~ times 4. V-ro (HIFU) many~~ times I tried everything that could be done.. When I went for a consultation about cannula radiofrequency, Director Kang Chang-min seemed not to recommend it, so I avoided it~! Because of that, I kept living with bruising under my eyes, developed social anxiety, and lived just going home-work-home-work. But the long band absolutely did not go away. Still, after getting steroid injections, there was a large lump on the left, and that got smaller. For example, to compare it, it felt like there had been a balloon, and the balloon burst, but the clump of the balloon remained. It had not disappeared~! At the first consultation, Director Kang Chang-min did not immediately recommend surgery. He said we should see a little longer, because if a small amount of steroid injection made it disappear or shrink, fat repositioning could also improve the appearance. But with the repeated procedures, my body and mind were getting very exhausted.. As time passed, I saw no improvement and really could not endure it anymore, so I went for a second consultation. That day, I also had an ultrasound. On ultrasound, the nodules were clearly visible, so I decided on surgery, scheduled the date, and went back home~! On the day of surgery, since I live outside Seoul, I took the 5:30 a.m. bus to Seoul lol. I arrived at 9:30 and got to the hospital before 10~~! First I took photos, changed clothes, and filled out the precautions and consent forms. The director designed the area, and then we took design photos again. I was extremely nervous, but the director’s witty jokes and hearty laugh helped my tension ease even a littleㅠㅠ Manager Ga-hee came into the consultation room from time to time and talked with me about this and that, so I was so gratefulㅜㅜ super kind.. touched.. Before 11, as soon as I entered the operating room, sadness and fear suddenly rushed over me and I felt like I was going to cryㅠㅠ The operating room nurse said that since it was under the eyes, if I cried, it would swell even more and last even longer, so let’s try hard to hold back the tears~! Hearing that, I held back my tears again lololol They said, “You’re going to fall asleep now..” but after 30 seconds I still felt fine, so I said, “Nurse, I’m not falling asleep..” and then 3..2..1.. KO After waking up, I moved to the recovery room in a groggy state~! Looking at the photo of the removed foreign material that I had asked the nurse for.. it wasn’t the 1 lump on the right and 3 lumps on the left that I had thought and felt, but 1 lump on the right and as many as 5 lumps on the left... And they said that as soon as they opened the conjunctiva, there was material flowing out on both sides, so they washed that out~! From the hospital, I had bloody tears and my eyes stung. Bloody tears and conjunctival swelling were things I had been informed of in advance~! On the bus going home, it felt like my right eye was not closing, so I asked my guardian, and there was a symptom of it not closing fully~! Manager Ga-hee emphasized ice packs, so even at dawn I kept changing the ice packs and continued doing it. When I woke up in the morning and checked, the symptom of one eye not closing fully was gone~~! The area between my eyebrows is so swollen that I look just like Avatar.. My other half also cracked up saying I looked ugly.. As for conjunctival eversion, the right side has gotten better, and the left side still has eversion~! Seeing other reviews say that walking helps with swelling, I plan to walk~~! I am posting this because there were no reviews about under-eye foreign material removal, and thinking of the frustrating days I went through, I hope it can help even a little~! I also visited many places for consultations and received a lot of help from other people. I was able to exclude blacklisted hospitals and go for consultations. I still have a long way to go to recover, but... I hope I can share a good review with you!
