I’m sharing the progress and what I felt up to day 5 after surgery! *I wrote this because I was bored, so it got really long* I hope it helps everyone preparing for surgery or recovering together. Existing specs - Height 163 - Weight 50 - Breasts AAAAAA - Rib cage 66 - Breast pocket 11.5 - Pectus carinatum (asymmetrical) Surgery info Sebbin 240/275 Hybrid with thigh fat Inframammary fold incision Subfascial Day 0 (same day) Since mine was the first surgery slot, I went to the hospital a little after 9, got a brief explanation about the surgery with my guardian, did the design, and decided the final size. At this point I kept asking them to put in just a little more until the end... Don’t people usually put in around 300?ㅠㅠ They said absolutely not because my breast pocket and chest circumference are small. I did regret it a bit when I lay down on the operating table... I recommend trying to zone out as much as possible. Anesthesia was done through an IV in the arm, they said, “Your arm will feel sore~” and I passed out within 5 seconds. They said the anesthesiologist has more experience than the director and is a veteran; it actually seemed that way too. I opened my eyes in the recovery bed and was so cold that my jaw was trembling. It didn’t hurt, and I only felt like my chest was completely tight!! They put a machine blowing warm air inside the blanket, and after trembling for 20 minutes I felt okay. The director must be busy... He said the surgery went well and, “See you when we check the progress~” then left. Did I see him for 5 seconds...ㅠ After discharge, during the day I intermittently felt tightness and pulling, and the incision area hurt a bit. Because the incision hurt, I couldn’t do the stretching they taught me. Is it really possible from the same day? lol At night, since I had to sleep when the anesthesia wore off, I spent time sitting, then took Tak-Sen before bed and fell asleep. (I slept lying down from the start.) 1 day post-op There was some pulling and throbbing, and right after sitting, lying down, or getting up, it hurt like crazy for about 10 secondsㅠㅠ Especially the incision felt like it was going to tear, so I held my breasts with my hands for a moment. Changing positions by myself was the hardest lolololol If I stayed still, it just felt heavy and was okay. It was Sunday, so I couldn’t go to the hospital for a progress check. 2 days post-op I went to the hospital and had the taping removed. Once the taping came off, a lot of the tightness disappeared. The nurse who disinfected and removed the taping was incredibly kind. In the middle, the director came in again for about 10 seconds, said the wound was healing well and, “See you when we remove the stitches~” then disappeared. Hmm. I got CAPS and SmartLux? Keep in mind that care + treatment took over an hour combined. Even by this point, it hurt quite a lot every time I changed position... I couldn’t open water bottles or doors by myself. 3 days post-op The pain had decreased to about 40% of the earlier pain. With cushion support I could change positions by myself well, and especially I could lie down and get up. Since I felt much better, I went out for a walk, but honestly walking is possible, though I had to walk very slowly for it not to hurt lolololol 4 days post-op Less than 20% of the initial pain. Even walking around outside for over 6 hours didn’t hurt as long as I didn’t run. (The compression bra is insanely uncomfortable.) The thighs used for the hybrid still had sore bruised areas, but it was fine enough to walk around in long pants. I could open and close doors by myself with both arms. I thought office workers could work without much difficulty from this point. 5 days post-op My breasts hardly hurt. The incision area sometimes hurts slightly, but to a degree I can ignore. My thighs have also gotten much better. The nurse said Dite doesn’t make the compression bra that tight, but it’s still so uncomfortable. Hmm... Looking at what I wrote, it’s not completely painless, and I think the pain is exactly around the middle. I think having a guardian is essential until day 3, and the stitches were originally supposed to be removed this weekend, but they said the director is going to an overseas conference this week, so let’s remove the stitches next Monday. The director seems extremely busy.. Anything I was curious about was answered by the consultation manager and nurses, so I didn’t really need to see him for long, but I think I saw him the longest at the first consultation... After surgery, maybe he just glanced because everything looked fine(?); I kept asking for bigger and bigger, but I think it came out about as much as I wanted, so I don’t regret the size. I just hope I become a full B.. There’s no uneven swelling or anything, and nothing seems seriously wrong. They said it keeps swelling until one week, so I’m going to watch it. If anyone is curious about hospital-hunting or early reviews, I’ll tell you as much as I can.
