It’s been about 3 years since I finished orthodontic treatment. The thin metal retainer that gets attached to the inner side of the teeth was only placed on my lower teeth, and for some reason not on my upper teeth. And they gave me a removable retainer, which I wore diligently at first, but after some time I stopped wearing it properly .. Then my teeth definitely started shifting back .. Once you finish orthodontic treatment, please make sure to wear your retainer diligently
