After the surgery was all over and the splint was removed, I was listening to what the director said, and he said that for the nasal bridge, they put in 4 mm, so they shaved the bridge down to 1 mm. So it does not really look like it was raised much, and autologous costal cartilage went into the nasal tip, but my nostrils are clearly visible, and the arrow-shaped nose appearance and the shape of the nasal tip are similar to before surgery. I am scared that even after time passes and the swelling goes down, the shape will still be similar.. If it was only going to be raised 1 mm, I feel like I would not have done it.
