I went for a consultation because I suspected uneven eyes + overcorrection from ptosis correction.. I think I understood why opinions on the doctor’s consultations are divided: they’re a bit blunt and chic. But they answered my questions sincerely and well, and I liked it. They caught that my pupil sizes were different. Since quite a lot of time has passed after surgery, the only way to release the overcorrection is recession, but they said it’s impossible to know whether the functional symptom of the eye being pulled due to overcorrection would improve or worsen with recession.. And they seem to think the choice of surgery is made by the patient. For functional issues, there was no part where they advised, recommended, or gave a surgical order. It felt like, “We can try A or B, but we can’t know for sure whether it will improve.” So I’m thinking a lot about it.
