Eye Surgery Considerations

Limited community review

It was a revision surgery, and I also had surgery for a deviated septum and rhinoplasty at the same time. The biggest reason for the revision surgery was that the discomfort from the septal deviation was too severe, but I was also dissatisfied with the nose shape from my first surgery.

I used MegaDerm, donated costal cartilage, and septal cartilage, and as a result, I’m extremely satisfied. Breathing has become so much easier, and my nose shape came out much better than I originally expected. (The hospital where I had my first surgery was also fairly famous, but there was almost no change and only a pollybeak deformity developed.) Honestly, I’m not someone who writes posts online, so I wasn’t going to write this either, but I’m writing because I’m so grateful to the doctor.

I tend to worry a lot and am cautious about everything, so I chose after spending a long time considering things like the nasal materials used by plastic surgery doctors, surgical techniques, surgical experience, aesthetic sense, communication skills, and so on. For you all, too, it will probably be better both statistically and in terms of results to largely exclude baseless or emotional content posted by non-professionals or on communities, and judge rationally.

It’s natural to feel emotionally anxious before surgery. Rather, if you aren’t anxious or feel indifferent, look back once more on whether you are truly someone who should have surgery. Dr. Kim Gwi-rak has skill, of course, but he also has a sense of responsibility, so I feel at ease even after receiving surgery.
