<From left: natural nose the day before surgery (6.6)/day 2 (6.8)/today (6.14)><From left: natural nose the day before surgery (6.6)/day 2 (6.8)/today (6.14)>Hi everyone, I went around for consultations, finished my dental treatment super quickly, and came back after surgery(о´∀`о) I’ll leave the link to my consultation post below I had surgery on 6/7 at hospital no. 3 (ㄱㄱ / Director ㅎㄱㅇ)!!! The plan was filler dissolving, autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, silicone for the bridge, short-nose correction, and bulbous-nose correction~~~ [Day of Surgery] : I visited at 10:00 a.m. on 6/7, with surgery scheduled for 10:30 About 30 minutes of pre-op preparation, consultation, and waiting Final consultation before surgery and nose design -> I showed the photo I had shown at the first consultation, plus a few other photos, and we proceeded with the design I waited in the waiting room, but my phone was in the locker so I didn’t know the time. I’m sure it was past 10:30. When I checked later, it started a little after 11. As soon as the surgery ended, I was totally fine, went to the bathroom, then went to the recovery room They told me to lie down in the recovery room, but I felt stuffy, so I ended up sitting Discharged a little after 2 p.m. I tried drinking a little water and felt okay, so I drank water, and since my stomach felt okay too, I ate gimbap in the car on the way home Other than dry mouth and difficulty breathing, there wasn’t anything particularly uncomfortable I slept leaning on a backrest cushion, and it was comfortable [Day 1] : My nose felt a little tight? Other than occasionally feeling like a rib was caught near my epigastric area, it was okay I walked about 20 minutes round trip to pick up coffee, and there was nothing uncomfortable Blood-tinged runny nose dripping [Day 2] : I drove about 50 minutes round trip I wandered around a shopping mall for over four hours Other than not being able to breathe comfortably and not tasting things well, it was manageable A little yellow bruising around the eyes Slightly puffy Blood-tinged runny nose dripping [Day 3] : Washed my hair alone at home Cotton removed from my nose (I was worried because people said it hurt, but it felt refreshing) Ate spicy food normally I couldn’t open my mouth wide, and if I made a posture where my front teeth or lips bumped like when saying “um-pa um-pa,” my nose felt pulled, so when eating I ended up opening my mouth only a little (it had been like that since day one) After the rib cartilage harvest, it was hard to put strength into my abdomen, so I didn’t, and using taking medicine as an excuse I ate well and gained weight.. I can’t even taste things well, but I eat well and gain weight, so I have nothing to say, but I feel wronged(´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`) [Day 4] : No problem even traveling a long time by car Even sitting in a chair and working for a long time, the rib area or anywhere else didn’t particularly hurt Except for not being able to wash my face, it was no different from daily life [Day 5] : Same as day 4, with nothing particularly uncomfortable [Day 6] : I could shower and wash my hair by myself, everything was possible and it didn’t hurt. Of course it depends on the person, but I was fine. I drove for over three hours and wandered around. [Day 7] : Drove myself to the hospital to have stitches/splint removed. When the stitches were removed it stung and I teared up a little.. Satisfied after seeing my nose.. incision line is clean Overall I was very satisfied, I didn’t have much bruising or swelling, my rib area was fine, and I went around so well that my friends seriously said it looked like it had been over a month since surgery lololol They made a fuss saying I’m built for surgery lololol I think I saw here that surgical incision marks depend on my condition + the doctor’s skill, and if I just manage them well, they’ll fade quickly I’ll attach photos in case anyone is curious (saying that, but really I’m uploading them because I want to show off)
