Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

It’s been about a month and a half, but the dissolvable thread is still there. Stitch removal...

It’s been a month and 2 weeks since I had it removed because of inflammation, and there’s still a stitch left inside the entrance of my right nostril. When I touch it, the scar tissue seems to have formed, or maybe the scab and thread are tangled together, because the area around the stitch sticks out a bit. If I try to pull off the raised part, it hurts. After the removal, the nurse said the stitches inside the nose were dissolvable and wouldn’t be removed, and only the stitches on the outside near the columella would be taken out, so that’s what they removed. But there are no stitches on the left side, only on the right. If I tilt my head back and look, I can see it. It’s inside the nose, but near the entrance above the nostril. Since they said this was dissolvable thread, can I just leave it alone? I heard somewhere that if stitches remain, they can also cause inflammation.. I’m really sick and tired of inflammation now. If this does need to be removed, can I go to a different plastic surgery clinic and ask them just to remove the stitch instead of going back to the hospital where it was removed? The hospital where it was removed was the original surgery hospital, but things ended badly and I absolutely do not want to go back. If anyone has had a similar experience, please leave a reply
