Before <pre-op incision + medial canthoplasty white scar, broken aegyo-sal> After After Hello!! After looking around here and there and researching different places, I finally had medial canthoplasty restoration surgery, so I’m posting a review in hopes it may help others even a little haha I had medial canthoplasty together with incisional double eyelid surgery 12 years ago. My distance between the eyes was already narrow (3.3 cm), and after the canthoplasty it became 2.8 cm, so my eyes looked extremely, extremely close together. My impression looked fierce and the outer corners of my eyes were also too upturned, so it was stressful, but medial canthoplasty restoration surgery wasn’t as well known as it is now, so I just worried about it for years. Then I finally did it, and now I wonder why I only did such a good thing nowㅠㅠ What I considered important was 1. Scarring 2. Fast recovery period These two things. Once an incision is made, there is a high chance of some scar remaining anyway, so while looking for a place that could do it with minimal incision and fast recovery, I ended up having it done here. The director was really meticulous and did it in the direction I wanted.
I debated until the day of surgery whether to do lateral and lower canthoplasty too, but I didn’t want to get on the operating table again, so I just did it all at once, and I think I made the right choice!! It’s been one month, and the swelling went down quickly, there is little scarring, and my overall impression has improved a lot..☺️
