Day 2 After Cheekbone Surgery

Before - reason for surgery My face itself is definitely on the small side, but my cheekbones were so prominent that I looked unsophisticated and my impression looked bad. I couldn’t even show my ears, and I always covered them with my hair every day. No matter whether I wore makeup or did anything else, I didn’t look pretty. On days when I thought I looked a little okay, it was because my cheekbones were well covered by my hair..ㅠㅠ I had been thinking for about ten years that I wished I didn’t have cheekbones, and opinions were half and half on whether I should do it or not. Even though people around me tried to stop me, I had already booked surgery at a certain plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam, but they had no CCTV and said video recording/audio recording wasn’t allowed, so I couldn’t trust them and canceled. I was planning not to do it because of possible side effects, but then I looked in the mirror with my ears exposed, got so angry that I broke the mirror, looked around at several places, and made a reservation because the price was reasonable and an acquaintance recommended it.

- Reason for choosing the hospital 1. Because it is famous in Seoul for doing surgery well 2. Because the consultation manager was kind and quick 3. My older sister was looking into having it done, and her friend had it done at Girin 4. Because the reviews on Babitalk, communities, etc. were good 5. I canceled surgery at the other place because there was no CCTV, and this place does have CCTV, but no recording; only guardians can watch twice for 15 minutes each, and video filming is not allowed, but the director seemed to have a good impression, so I decided to do it.

- After surgery The wait wasn’t very long, and during the tests, all the staff were kind. There was still some time left before surgery, and since I had come by train from another region and had only slept 2 hours, they let me rest in the recovery room before surgery. I lay down and slept really well. After surgery, it hurt so much I thought maybe someone had hit me while I was asleep. I was dying from the pain. It hurt so much I couldn’t lie down, so I stayed sitting. I was so swollen and in pain. I was out of it. Even in the middle of that, the staff were kind. When I got home and looked, maybe I had thrashed around during surgery, because I had bruises on my thighs and calves, and maybe they forced my mouth open, because I had a contusion at the corner of my mouthㅠㅠ I don’t think I could have surgery twice. The swelling is also so, so, so severe. The director recommended thread lifting, so I did it, but with swelling this severe, and they say thread lifting lasts about 6 months, I feel like I shouldn’t have done it. I don’t even know when the swelling will go down, and if I eat after liposuction the fat will come back again, so I feel like I shouldn’t have done that eitherㅠ I’m bleeding from my nose, bleeding from my throat, I can’t swallow saliva well, I can’t open my mouth, and the outer corners of my eyes are bruised. It is fascinating that my cheekbones are gone. I’m eating porridge and castella with a Baskin-Robbins spoon. I’m brushing by gently rinsing with a Waterpik. I hope the swelling goes down quickly. I’ll write another review later.
