Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

Honest review of lingual braces, please use this as a reference~

I finished after wearing braces for a little over 3 years, and I remembered that I also went around looking for a lot of information, so I’m leaving this review in case it helps a little~ My teeth were severely bucked, so my mouth was protruding too, and I had 5 teeth pulled in total: 2 upper teeth + 1 wisdom tooth, and 2 lower wisdom teethㅠㅠ Even then it wasn’t enough, so they also shaved quite a bit between my teeth. Fortunately, they did as much as possible as safely as they could, so I didn’t have any sensitivity or discomfort. With lingual braces, the upper ones were placed on the inside and the lower ones were placed where they could be seen. A lot of people don’t even realize I had orthodontic treatment. You can hardly tell at all. I’d heard things like your pronunciation gets worse and stuff, but for me it wasn’t that uncomfortable. What I liked most was that food gets stuck a lot in braces, but with lingual braces, even if food gets stuck, you can’t see it, so I didn’t have to worry about it. They said normal braces would cost around 600 to 650, but lingual braces cost 800, and I paid 400 upfront and the remaining 400 in installments over 6 months. If you talk about installment plans during the consultation, I think they’ll work it out well for you. There were no extra fees and no monthly fees, and if you paid 800, they took responsibility until the end. After it was over, there was a retainer-type thing you can put in and take out, and they said it was okay whether I used it or not, but I got one made for 30. But from experience, I think you should definitely buy it and wear it when you sleep. It’s been about 6 months since I finished, and if I leave it off for a while because I’m lazy and then wear it again after a long time, it feels really tight.. I was satisfied after orthodontic treatment because my buck teeth were so bad that they were stressful.. my protruding mouth also went in, my mouth line had been crooked, but it became neat It feels like my image got cleaned up And maybe because I had so many teeth pulled, my jawline had become a bit square too, but it got slimmer, so I think it was a good choice But I really lose cheek fat.... I was surprised dropped off so suddenly I’m thinking of getting fat graftingㅠㅠ But I’ve always been on the side with not much cheek fat, so maybe it feels even more extreme My friend lost cheek fat in a pretty way, so she looks even more V-line Still, since my jaw got slimmer, if I get fat grafting, I think it will have an effect like having had double jaw surgery Lastly, the hospital: I did it at the ㅎㅇㅌ Dental Clinic in Apgujeong I think you’d know it because even celebrities go there and it’s a famous hospital I went because it was famous and big.. I was nervous because I had to have a lot of teeth extracted, but here there was a specialist just for extractions and also separate orthodontic doctors, so I went The result was pretty good overall But there were also many times I felt uncomfortable.. Because it’s a big hospital, it feels like they see patients as money too much. After it ended, they told me to get cavity treatment, so I got examined, and they said I had 5 cavities and that using good materials would cost 80,000 won each, maybe 400,000 won? I thought that was a bit much, so I went to a neighborhood dental clinic, and they said there weren’t really any cavities that needed treatment and that maybe only 2 needed it.. I paid 10,000 won each for insurance-covered materials; they didn’t seem like the best materials, but they were white so you couldn’t see them and that was niceㅡ.ㅡ And there was a slightly decayed area, but they said if I managed it well it wouldn’t be a problem, and that treating it would actually require shaving off a lot, so it would be worse..... Since it’s a big hospital, I just let it go; What annoyed me most was how many customers there wereㅡㅡ the hospital has the upper hand Really, for night clinic and Saturdays, if you want to make a reservation, you have to fight for 10 minutes.. they even told me to take half a day off and come There are really a lot of people arguing at the counterㅋㅋ.. Honestly, the nurses probably get annoyed too, and I think it can’t be helped because there are just too many people Unless it’s morning, you usually have to wait 20 to 40 minutes minimum.. thanks to that I read a lot of books That said, the nurses weren’t rude or anything, they treated me well enough If you look at it positively, you could think they’re good because so many customers come Anyway, if you hate that kind of thing, think carefully And this was my experience while going there, and if the hospital expands or something, maybe you won’t have to wait One more piece of advice: I think it’s better if the hospital isn’t too far away When I consulted, they said it would probably take a little over 2 years, but it actually took longer than I expected You have to go once a month, and if a device falls off or something goes wrong, you have to go right away for service, so distance really matters If it’s a hospital you absolutely want to go to, you might be able to endure the inconvenience, but I think it’s better to think it through in advance It got long as I was writingㅋㅋ Anyway, I wrote honestly about my experience, so please use it as reference~~ I had severe buck teeth and had a lot of extractions, so I think there were quite a lot of changes, but if you don’t need extractions or your teeth aren’t very crooked, there may not be a big change It’s quite inconvenient and costs a lot, so think carefully before doing it ㅎㅎㅎㅎ You can leave a comment if you have questions, but I don’t come here very often so I might not see itㅠ I hope this was helpful!
