After surgery, I visited because I was anxious and curious about a pulling sensation in my nose, but far from getting my questions answered, I only ended up feeling very upset. I went to ask the doctor because I did not know, but he really raised his voice, cut me off, and said he did not know either, that I was the first patient like this, and when I asked why he kept cutting me off, he said things like, "Because you keep saying things that make no sense," and so on. I felt like I had asked questions that he could calmly explain and use to reassure me, but he responded emotionally, so I was taken aback. It felt like he was trying to have a power struggle with the patient, saying it was not his fault (I told him I was not there to claim it was the clinic’s or doctor’s fault or to pick a fight). The consultation manager mediating in the middle had a really hard time. That person’s kindness is truly 100 points...
