Since I was young, having no nasal bridge was a complex for me, so I vaguely thought I would become prettier if I got nose surgery, and getting nose surgery at age 20 was the beginning of my unhappiness. Silicone + septal cartilage, and since my nose generally looked sunken into my face, they also recommended paranasal augmentation and cat surgery. So, not knowing anything, I okayed it. I originally had a small, short nose, and maybe putting in silicone was too much, because it was slightly upturned. Well, at that time the half-beoseon nose was trendy, so I lived thinking a little upturn was probably fine. After that, the Gore-Tex implant on the right paranasal area slowly broke through my gum, so I had revision surgery again. At that time, when I told the doctor my nose was a little upturned, he said he would touch it up a bit, so he lowered the nasal tip with ear cartilage and redid the paranasal augmentation. At that time, he also cut a little under the nasal ala, saying it would relieve the upturned nose. (Writing it out, it really was an insane surgery....) After that, the left paranasal implant broke through under my nose, and I was truly sick of it, so I asked them to remove everything. (Ah, the problem was that I kept going to the same hospital.. This director was truly crazy and did every possible thing to my nose.) While removing it, he said he had put a little filler in the nasal tip. When I looked it up, people said filler is not usually put in the nasal tip because it can cause problems with blood circulation in the nose.. In the end it became red and swollen, so I received dermatology treatment.) I managed it while taking Rizaben for about 4 months, but my nose was only okay while I was taking the medication, and afterward it felt like it was lifting more and more.. It was contracture. You know that famous Solbi photo from Come to Play, right.. My nose gradually became close to that. I couldn’t stand it anymore, so while waiting for vacation, I decided to have revision surgery. I didn’t even want to look at that hospital’s location, so I looked into another hospital. The director at the new hospital said my condition seemed very poor, so after opening it up, if the situation was good he would use cartilage and dermis, but if it was not good, the last resort would be removal, and he would remove it. A few days ago, I went up on the operating table, and he said there was a lot of old inflammation and scar tissue from an inflammatory reaction to silicone, so removal was the only option. I had never heard from the previous hospital that they used Medpor during surgery, but the director told me there was Medpor. Ha........ Why do they put just anything inside a person’s body without even saying anything? If it was Medpor, I would have said not to put it in...... I was truly dumbfounded. Right now, the silicone has been removed. My skin or constitution may be unusual, with a severe rejection reaction to silicone, which may be why it got this bad, but everyone, please think carefully before having surgery.. You may think it is just a simple operation to raise the nose and that there will be no side effects. “It won’t happen to me”.. I was one of those people too, and easily got on the operating table. In the end, the result of my immature choice is only multiple surgeries and wounds in my heart.. People really speak so easily. “She’s still ugly even after getting her nose done.. Why did she get her nose surgery like that? She overdid the height,” and so on........ It is truly painful. Whenever I look in the mirror, tears come, and I don’t even want to go outside. It sounds really ridiculous, but I often thought I wanted to die because of my nose. Ah.. It feels relieving to be able to write like this, at least. The director who operated on me this time said that if I want revision surgery, it would be best to do it after a year, but I now intend to live with the way I look. I realized plastic surgery is not the answer to everything. They say you only learn a lesson by going through it yourself, but this kind of painfully hard lesson...... I do not want to recommend it to others.. That’s all for now. + Ah, and when your body is tired, if the glabella area of your nose swells or hurts, or your nose feels heavy.. anyway, if your nose feels even a little painful, go to the hospital and get treatment.. I also went a few times, but because it became less frequent, I thought, “Ah, it’s probably just because my body is tired,” and left it alone. That turned into living with inflammation all the time.
