With that mindset, after just thinking about it for over 3 years, I finally decided for real It also took me really long to choose a hospital... There are so many hospitals, so it was hard to go to one place and feel absolutely sureㅠㅠ Then, while going around for consultations, there was one place that just felt right, and rather than just being a recommendation or something? I liked that they consulted me based on the exact eye condition I was concerned about~ Especially since I had monolids + a ptosis-like look, the director said that if I did incisional ptosis correction together with lateral canthoplasty, my gaze would look more natural and my eye shape would become softer, so I think I decided pretty quickly! They didn’t push extra procedures, and because their consultation style precisely pointed out only the parts I was worried about, I felt reassured once again! Of course there was swelling right after surgery, but my eyes definitely felt more open when I opened them, and after about a week the swelling went down to some extent, so the swelling worry really wasn’t as big as I expected!! When the stitches were removed, the director also said the line was settling well, and hearing that immediately raised my expectations haha Now, even without double-eyelid glue, the double eyelids are set so naturally, and the line isn’t awkward; it feels like my original eyes!! Especially what I liked more about the lateral canthoplasty was that once the outer corners opened up, my eyes didn’t look stuffy, and my impression became a bit clearer too~ These days, when I do eye makeup, the line shows well, so makeup is much easier, and honestly, when I think back on the days I worried every day while putting on double-eyelid glue, wondering how long I’d have to keep doing this, it’s kind of funny lol I also think I could have saved this time and stress if I’d just gotten surgery earlier haha Anyway, it was truly a surgery that let me smile comfortably and look in the mirror!
