Is there anyone here who has experienced necrosis of the nasal mucous membrane?? After 2 surgeries, my mucosa had gotten so thin that the cartilage was slightly visible, you know? Now I'm going through a second revision, and the mucosa over the column where the columellar strut was placed is completely purpleㅠㅠ The mucosa around the columella and the strut is also very swollen. It's day 4 now, so if the swelling goes down, will the color come back? I don't know if it's purple because blood flow is circulating a lot, or because it's not circulating. I'm going out of my mind with anxietyㅠㅠ How does mucosal necrosis progress? Is it mainly that cartilage becomes exposed? I also see posts saying the mucosa over the strut disappeared, or that silicone became exposedㅠㅠ I'd be grateful if you could tell me what the color was like.
