Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Revision rhinoplasty (please read)

I had revision rhinoplasty consultations at ㅇㅇ ㅍㄹㅇㅂ ㄹㄱ like this. My nose condition is that the columellar support is being maintained firmly, but I have nasal tip drooping and a small-nose? shape (had surgery 10 years ago)

ㅇㅇ - head director Since the support is being maintained well, there is no need to harvest autologous costal cartilage and rebuild the support again. He said the details are lacking, so he recommended a revision like remodeling, just extending the nasal tip, replacing the silicone implant, etc. from my current nose. When I asked if it would be okay to use autologous costal cartilage to rebuild the support, he said because it is a small nose and there is a limit to how much skin laxity there is, it probably is not necessary to go that far.

ㅍㄹㅇㅂ - Director ㅇㅈㅎ Since it is a revision surgery, he said it would be better to rebuild it with autologous costal cartilage, and recommended short-nose correction and nasal bridge osteotomy. He said how much is possible in terms of skin laxity or nasal tip height can only be known after opening the nose in the operating room.

The two consultation plans are so different that I am tornㅠㅠ If anyone here has had surgery at these hospitals for a short nose, nasal tip drooping, etc., please give me advice. ㅇㅇ or ㅍㄹㅇㅂ, I’m agonizing over it ten thousand times a day...
